It’s hard to answer all possible questions in a single product description, and the same applies to our foldable weight bench MightyRock. That’s why we’ve created this blog to address frequently asked questions related to our bench and foldable weight benches in general, helping to satisfy your curiosity before purchasing our patented bench.
What is the difference between a foldable weight bench and a standard weight bench?

Standard weight benches, also commonly referred to as workout bench, do not have the ability to fold their legs or support structures. Foldable weight benches are essentially the same as standard gym benches, but with the added feature of foldable legs, allowing for significant volume reduction. Other components, like padding and material type, are quite similar to standard weight benches. In terms of dimensions, they are also similar and depend on the manufacturer.
Is a foldable weight bench as stable and sturdy as a standard bench?
In our case, YES. Our MightyRock foldable weight bench is built with legs made of 5mm thick steel and a frame made from 2mm thick steel tubing. The construction is more massive and robust, supporting up to 500kg of static load. Lower-quality foldable benches often compromise on materials, using thinner steel for legs and frames.

Is the MightyRock foldable weight bench patented?
Yes, the MightyRock bench has a design patent protecting its unique shape and form.
Why is the MightyRock foldable weight bench more expensive than other benches I can find online?
Our bench is made from high-quality materials, and the entire manufacturing process is closely monitored with attention to detail. The MightyRock bench uses more steel than average foldable benches, and the padding is made from premium materials. To ensure firmness, a 15mm thick real plywood base is used, whereas cheaper alternatives often use 10mm wooden boards of lower quality.

Is assembly required after home delivery of the MightyRock foldable weight bench?
No, the MightyRock bench comes fully assembled – simply unpack it and start working out. Check out our video.
What should be the height of a foldable weight bench from the floor?
