The idea was to create the world's most compact heavy-duty weight bench!
The requirements for the project were as follows:
- 100mm -MAX Height when folded
- Robust design
- Storability potential
- Quick setup
- High quality padding
Prototyping stages
3D CAD engineering
The first stage is the hardest; from idea to actual 3D CAD model, it's a long road. We had to consider various folding options, material thickness, folding angles, pin dimensions, storability potential, etc. In the end, we managed to find the most balanced solution between robust design and compactness
Prototype production
Once we selected the optimal design, we moved on to prototype production. Despite encountering a few failures and making several design adjustments during testing and improvements, including experimenting with different padding materials, we ultimately developed the winning version
Pre-serial version testing
To ensure we deliver the best quality and design to our customers, we conducted a rigorous six-month testing period. The MightyRock foldable weight bench demonstrated that understanding market needs, adhering to engineering principles, and thinking outside the box truly pay off
