We’re excited to share an honest review of our MightyRock foldable weight bench from the channel HomeGymVault Europe, which specializes in reviewing home gym equipment.
When we wanted to put our bench to the test, we knew we needed someone with experience in trying out a wide range of home gym setups, someone who could give a professional and unbiased opinion. That’s why we sent our bench to Denmark for testing — and the result was a very positive review.
Why Foldable Weight Benches Are a Hit in the Home Gym Community

To better understand this foldable weight bench review, let’s first explain why foldable benches are gaining popularity.
More and more households in Europe are building small home gyms. People have realized that this is both a cost-effective investment and a healthy lifestyle choice. At the same time, with rising real estate prices, living spaces are shrinking, and compact equipment has become a must.
A weight bench is now considered an essential part of any home gym because it allows for a wide variety of exercises — with the bench press being the most popular. However, traditional benches take up a lot of space. That’s why the demand for foldable weight benches is rapidly growing.
What Did the Reviewer Say About the MightyRock Foldable Weight Bench?
According to Thomas, the reviewer behind the article, his initial plan was to place the bench in his secondary gym at his holiday home. However, as soon as he unpacked it and felt its sturdiness and build quality, he decided it deserved a spot in his main gym.
One of the first things he highlights is the wall storage option — a feature most benches don’t have. Not only can it be hung on the wall, but it also becomes extremely compact when stored that way.
Thomas was also impressed by the minimal play in the joints. For a foldable weight bench, some looseness in the legs is expected, since the pinholes need to be slightly larger than the pins. However, with the MightyRock bench, this play is kept to an absolute minimum.
Another highlight was its robustness and durability. Thomas tested the bench with an incredible 460 kg load, as seen in the picture below, and the bench didn’t bend at all. Even the padding remained undamaged after the test. This durability comes from its construction: 5 mm thick steel legs and 15 mm thick plywood support.
He concluded that this bench is ideal for most people with home gyms and gave it a strong recommendation. The only minor downside he mentioned was the rubber foot caps, which could have a rougher surface for better grip on the floor. However, he didn’t consider this a dealbreaker.
We’ve already taken this feedback seriously and will improve the grip of the foot protection in the next production series. Of course, the current rubber caps are more than sufficient for most floors. Based on our own testing, the only situation where slipping could occur is on a very dusty surface. Still, once you lie down on the bench, the downward force keeps it completely stable.
